・The MSL functions actively to ensure the building and maintaining of strong scientific understanding of our company marketed products and to support the development of portfolio products.
・The MSL communicates up-to-date medical knowledge and clinical trial data with external stakeholders and effectively responds to inaccurate competitive claims related to our company products in a scientifically accurate and consistent manner aligned with the overall Medical Strategies and direction. Leverages scientific and clinical expertise to create relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and Healthcare Professionals (HCPs). Identifies and develops strong and convincing speakers for our marketed products aligned with the Medical and Marketing Strategies.

Some of your key activities will be to：
・Identifies, lists and communicates with KOLs and HCPs in the practice setting (e.g., academic centres, investigators, research site) to update their understanding of relevant data in each context related to our company products. Build and maintain relationships to facilitate scientific exchange on topics of relevance to our company.
・Assists in identifying, engaging, and maintaining relations with KOLs and HCPs to establish and/or further the knowledge of our company products and their appropriate use; when necessary, assist in resolving issues pertaining to that use. Also, assisting with identifying those individuals with novel research concepts, clinical experience and expertise within identified therapeutic areas of interest to our company.
・Gathers Medical insights regarding our company and competitors’ products from KOLs and HCPs to help inform our company decision-making bodies and update the Medical and/or Marketing Strategies if necessary. Participates in assigned medical and scientific meetings to maintain awareness of current issues and new data pertaining to our company and competitors’ products and to support medical booths. Also, identifies and develop strong and convincing speakers for our marketed products aligned with the Medical Strategy.
・Assists regional Medical Representatives (MRs) in handling scientific and clinical questions for our company marketed products from KOLs and HCPs and backing the onboarding of new MSLs where required.
・Backing clinical trials by driving scientific discussion at site selection and site initiation visits where required. Backing scientific dialogue with investigators at prioritized/requested sites and patient recruitment and retention of subjects.

仕事内容

1. Safety Observational studyのScientific Lead
医薬品の安全性に関するリサーチクエスチョンに対し、薬剤疫学に関する調査・研究を計画・実行する（プロトコール作成、解析計画書作成、医療情報データベースや診療情報等を含むデータベースを活用した調査の実施、試験報告書、論文作成など）。

2. 医薬品リスク管理計画書作成への貢献
薬剤疫学に関する専門家として医薬品リスク管理計画書の作成に貢献する。

3. 疫学に関する専門性の発揮
医薬品開発から製造販売後の製品ライフサイクル全般に亘って安全性の観点から疫学に関連する専門性を発揮し、活動を支援する（規制当局等からの照会に対する回答作成、RWD/RWE創出の計画策定・実行、疾患病態の理解を深める為の調査など）

4. 社内関係部署との連携及び、外部顧客との協働
社内関係部署（開発チーム、Safety、Medical Affairs、Regulatory等）や外部専門家、CRO等と協働し、安全性に関連した薬剤疫学の観点から活動を支援する。

5. ファーマコビジランスに関連する活動
日本のファーマコビジランスに関連する規制やルールを理解する。薬剤疫学に関連するSafety Quality System（安全性に関連するSOP）の作成、メンテナンスを行い、関連するトレーニングを提供する。

6. 分析ツールの活用
様々なデータ（医療情報データベース、診療情報、など）や分析ツールを薬剤疫学に関する調査・研究に活用し、質の高いアウトカム提供に貢献する

仕事内容

・As our Senior Medical Advisor / Medical Advisor, you are to provide early medical expertise and advice based on interactions with KOLs (Key Opinion Leaders), independent professional associations and patient advocacy associations as necessary. Partner within Global and Japan Medical Affairs, cross-functionally with sales and marketing, and partner companies. Drive scientific dialogue through medical information, MSL (Medical Science Liaison), KOL engagements, medical education, publications, evidence generation activities including RWE (Real World Evidence), and advisory boards.

・Provide guidance and training to other Medical Affairs colleagues on the successful development and execution of effective medical strategies in the assigned therapy area. Actively interface with multiple external stakeholders to implement and apply the scientific and clinical data to back the therapeutic and business interests. Also, ensure strategic alignment of the therapy area with local and global plans and ensure sound scientific and medical guidance is provided for marketing strategies for the therapy area.
・Discuss relevant early development data with external medical and scientific experts, as well as identify and regularly engage with clinical experts in relevant Therapy areas (TAs) to optimizing the feasibility process for the clinical trial conduct. Provide leadership in the scientific community within New TAs on relevant topics. Also, provide and lead scientific/medical feedback to requests, and optimization of internal scientific resources for internal use.
・Contribute to delivering successful clinical trials in collaboration with clinical operations including driving scientific discussions at site selection and initiation visits and performing ad hoc visits. ・Recommend potential investigators/KOLs, backing customer contact/management to maintain high quality standards in Japan. Also, identify gaps to be filled by clinical and outcomes research. Review and approve ISS (Innovative Supply Solutions), outcomes protocols and study reports. 仕事内容

The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) is a field based key position within organization. The position will be responsible to develop　relationships within the medical/scientific community, provide
medical and/or scientific data about products and research to healthcare professionals and support the HCP to enable the care of patients with Tumor Treating Fields (TTFields) in particular with
regards to patients with glioblastoma, and other indications in the future. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to serving as scientific interface between company and the healthcare
professional communities with respect to communicating about clinical development plan and other research and development plans. To develop teaching materials as appropriate, facilitate
investigator sponsored trials(ISTs) on marketed and investigational indications and provide
perspective related to field activities associated with growing existing products and bringing new indications to market, are further responsibilities of this position. The MSL collects insights from Key
Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and shares them within the Company. The MSL also analyze those insights and contribute to the development of Medical Strategy. The MSL will take an important role on the　team, serving as a resource and mentor to field team members. The MSL will be responsible for the education/certification of new prescribers. Medical and scientific expertise will be maintained through
review of scientific literature, attendance at assigned medical meetings and self-learning. The MSL will work closely with cross-functional partners including Japan Business Team.

・Increases therapy awareness amongst prescribers and non-prescribers.
・Manages his/her territory and associated field-based activities.
・Performs activities related to marketed and research products including:
・Healthcare provider education on our products and disease awareness
・Facilitation of ISTs under local regulation appropriately
・Providing HCP’s feedback/insights and competitive intelligence to the company　regarding the therapeutic area and our products
・Attendance and coverage at assigned Medical Meetings, Organization of advisory boards, etc.
・Facilitate advancement of the body of science regarding TTFields.
・Supports therapy with TTFields through medical communications, scientific support for promotional activities and other related medical activities including, but not limited to studies, trainings, and medical information.
・Develops, maintains and extends contacts with national experts and medical professionals in our field of therapeutic area in particular regarding Oncology.
・Ensures 100% compliance with all applicable Standard Operating Procedures, local and international rules and regulations.
